Outdoor Ceremony in the Walled Gardens at Loseley (Surrey)

Our third ceremony this weekend was at the gorgeous Loseley Park in Surrey, and during set up for this lovely little ceremony, we had rain, sunshine and wind!  Never one to be deterred by the weather, we carried on regardless and everything was set and in place for the guests arrival.

My couple were having a lovely personal ceremony within the walled of the beautiful gardens at Loseley Park, and then utilising all of the different parts of the garden for their reception drinks afterwards.  The wedding breakfast and evening reception were then taking place over in the Tithe Barn which has stunning views across the lawns to the lake on site.

We had hessian covered benches, live music from the talented Declan Zapala (www.declanzapala.com), and lemonade welcome drinks all set against the stunning backdrop of the grounds.

As the venue has a policy against the use of confetti, I advised the couple of many other options that are available to them in this case, and they chose to have ribbon wands with little bells on, which the grooms mother skilfully handcrafted (all 120 of them!) and guests waved them in celebration as they walked back up the aisle at the end of the ceremony.

Welcome!  Ribbon Wands

It was a beautiful ceremony, that acknowledged their lovely little girl, and was full of words that describe the meaning of marriage, and how they have gone from a couple to a family and are taking the next step into marriage together.

After two lovely readings (one of which was a duet!) we had some unique and modern vows and ring exchanges, and the couple walked back up the aisle to more live music from their guitarist.

It was a great day, and I look forward to sharing images from the lovely MJH Pictures (www.mjhpictures.com) but for now, here are my snaps taken during set up today.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Brooks!
